About the Role

Skytells is seeking an IR (Investor Relations) Specialist to join our Finance team on a part-time basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing communications between Skytells and our investors, analysts, and financial community. You'll help articulate our AI vision, strategy, and financial performance to current and potential investors. As an IR Specialist at Skytells, you'll work closely with our leadership team to develop and implement effective investor relations strategies that support our business objectives and maximize shareholder value. This part-time position is based in our Los Angeles office.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement investor relations strategies and communications plans
  • Prepare financial presentations, press releases, and investor materials
  • Organize investor meetings, conferences, and earnings calls
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, investor sentiment, and competitive landscape
  • Maintain relationships with investors, analysts, and financial media
  • Collaborate with leadership team to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
  • Support the preparation of annual reports, SEC filings, and other financial disclosures
  • Track and report on key investor relations metrics and effectiveness of IR programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Communications, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in investor relations, financial communications, or investment banking
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, reporting, and valuations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience preparing financial presentations and investor materials
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear financial narratives
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the technology or AI sector
  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance
  • CFA or IR certification
  • Experience with investor relations software and analytics tools
  • Knowledge of SEC regulations and disclosure requirements
